Clothing has historically been an identifier that separates the rich from the poor, the east from the west, the hot from the cold, old and young and so on. As such it forms a border in it’s own way. As a literal play on the word “outskirt”, a synonym of border, this skirt collection embodies the diverse cultures on either side of the border through textile choices, surface decoration, construction techniques and style.
